IZIDA - On Your Own Way CD

Uber-arcane late 80s female fronted heavy/power metal band from a remote village in Bulgarian countryside. As a person who grew up over there and was intimately familiar with the Bulgarian 80s metal scene, I have to admit I've never heard of them until now. Which is quite unfortunate coz it is quite decent album.

Ironically, according to their bio, the band was supposed to play on the Rock Metal Fest in Vidin city in 1989. I was serving my mandatory military duty in that city back then, and attended the festival, but sadly Izida did not make it. Oh well...

Anyhow, kudos to Sensory Steel for digging up this arcane gem and giving it a second life, or a first one, since apparently it was never really released/made commercially available so far. Sung in Bulgarian
